Move Your Body!

Inside, Outside, at Work: MOVE!

Sometimes getting the motivation to work out is rough, but once you start you will begin to form a life-changing habit that will boost your spirits and give you energy and a great looking body!

 

It's best to always be moving your body. You can do this by taking the stairs, periodically standing up while at work and doing a quick walk around the office, biking when you can, or walking, instead of driving to lunch. 

 

The perfect time to start working out is right now! Set a time that works best for you, but if that time changes, be sure not to pass up a work out. Your body was meant to work, not sit around and eat potato chips.

 

Check out this great routine that will kick you in the butt and inspire you to tone your body:

Warm Up!

30 jumping lunges

- Push through the toes. Get height when switching 

legs. really push yourself!

30 seconds: Burpees with Lateral Jump

- Plank position. Jump up and over. Down to plank   position. Repeat for 30 seconds.

25 push ups

30 seconds: extended leg hold each leg

60 sit ups

10 reps of a bicep curl

-10+ lbs

10 reps of tricep curl

20 reps each leg: glute lift

50 toe raises

1 minute plank hold

12 squats with weight

 

REPEAT the above 3 times

Glute raises

Lift from the glute. Keep stomach tight.

Squats

Keep head up. Squat down and squeeze your bum as you rise. Use weight in your hands.

Plank

Held with either elbows or fully-extended arms. Squeeze the stomach and bum.

Extended Leg Hold

Balance! Keep stomach tight. Hold for 30 seconds each leg.
